Wire Mesh Brooch Have you ever worked with colorful wire mesh? J-me will show you how to delicately work with this product and a few metal charms to make a brooch pin that will jazz up any old jacket!

Long & Trendy Bead Necklace It is long, it is trendy, it is beaded and it is a necklace.   All-in-all we will show you how to create a necklace with no clasp.   You can wear it long or double it over your head for a two strand necklace look or keep on wrapping and have a multiple strand bracelet.   You will be cover model chic with our style.

Goddess Necklace (Basic Bead Stringing) New to beading?   Let us teach you the basics from the very start.   You will leave our store wearing a fabulous necklace with a goddess pendant that you made all by yourself.   We will teach you about design, when you can cut corners to save and what is important when stringing beads.

Geometrical Metal Earrings Squares, diamonds, rings...are we feeling shapely?   This class helps you to think "out of the box" when creating earrings.   We will show you how to use wire and metal components to create a heavy metal look that is trendy.

Swarovski Crystal Heart Pendant    Wear your heart on your sleeve or at least on your necklace.   Using fabulous Swarovski crystals, this class shows you a bit about right angle weave and you end up with a plump crystallized heart pendant.   Fun for everyday wear or to make cupid jealous!

 

Freeform Peyote Skills (Prerequisite:   Flat Peyote) Toss your symmetrical and rigid beading ways out the door and master freeform peyote skills.   Join Willow for this exciting day of beadwork.   Make sure that you are fluent with flat peyote before taking this more advanced course.

Sassy & Classy Lariat Learn about bead stringing when making our ice blue shiny lariat that uses the clasp as an embellishment.   You will look smart, on top of the world, sassy and classy - and that is guaranteed!

Chain Necklace   Chain is the hot material to work with right now! In this class we will use a few different styles of chain and incorporate some beads and have a very cool multiple strand necklace.   Work on your design eye and master loops and coils during this workshop.

TUBULAR PEYOTE STITCH:

Round and round we go stitching small seed beads together to create a tubular bead, or continue on to end up with a totally tubular necklace!  Either way, you’ll surely be addicted to this very relaxing and therapeutic beading method.  Small beads, plus patience equals BIG results!

Make a pair of sparkles for your ears for the holidays.   Reflective Swarovski crystal teardrops will hang from peyote stitched ribbons in gold and silver.   Just in time to make a pair for your best girl-friend too!   Flat peyote is a must!

Glitzy Cha Cha Bracelet

Learn about color harmony and the techniques and methods to creating a fabulous bracelet your friends will envy.   Each bracelet has 42 rows to attach three dangles to per row.   In just two hours you will be on your way to completing your bracelet here in our store or at home. Beginning Earrings/Stringing

Learn the basics to jewelry making with stringing a bracelet and making a pair of earrings using beautiful Swarovski crystals.   While stringing you bracelet, you will learn about proper stringing materials, design, and finishing the clasp. India Glass Earrings

Beginning Earrings

Earring making is easy and fun.   Join this class and let our friendly staff show you the basics to getting started making earrings.   We will use the glass beads from India.   You can choose between the whimsical bright colored beads or the elegant foil lined or matted beads.   Add a few spacer beads and we have a great pair of earrings.   You will enjoy making all of your friends gifts or expanding your own jewelry collection.

Safety Pins Bracelet

Beaded Round Crown Sennit Knot

Mastering this round crown knot into a beaded sinnet will open up a whole new world of endless beading possibilities. Perfect to use for beaded ropes, useful for necklaces, bracelets, eyeglass holders - you name it.   After you get the hang of making a round crown sennit knot with artificial sinew and 8/0 seed beads, we will show you how to begin a bracelet with a beaded loop, and finishing it off by tying the sinew onto a button with a shank.   You will love making this bracelet in your leisure time!

Bone Mix Necklace & Earrings:

This class will teach you the very basics of jewelry making.   While stringing a beautiful necklace using a variety of bone beads, you will learn how to stretch your costs by using tiny seed beads as filler in between your main beads.   After we finish the necklace, we will then teach you how to make a simple pair of earrings, adding a charm drop for that personal touch.   Understanding the basics of which beading wire to use when stringing, how to finish off your necklaces, and how to make your very own earrings, will certainly open up a whole new world of beading possibilities for years to come.

Brick Stitch Earrings:

This workshop will teach you the basic stitch. Using a needle and thread, you will join seed beads to create a pyramid pattern. We will show you how to turn your new skill into a pair of earring to make at your leisure. Your friends will be so impressed!

 

Flat Peyote Bracelet with Cabochon

Learn how to surround a cabachon with beads and attach it to a freeform peyote bracelet.

Right Angle Weave Earrings:

Using Fireline thread, seed beads, 3mm, 4mm & 6mm fire-polished crystals, you will learn the basic right-angle weave technique to make these charming earrings in a snap with two needles.   

Bezel Frames (Beg.) - NEW!

There are many nifty bezels on the market today that allow you to display your favorite photograph, antique stamp, decorative paper, or whatever your heart desires as an element in your jewelry.   We will show you how to cut your selected inserts to fit inside a bezel, how to fill it with a resin, and cure your piece.   You will make one set of bezels which can be turned into a fabulous pair of earrings.
Bead Stitch Basics :   NEW !   In this class you will learn basic ladder stitch, brick stitch and decreasing brick stitch.   No project will be completed; this is a primer class to prepare you for other beading projects.

Finishing Techniques for Beaded Jewelry - NEW!

Come join us for a lesson on tips and techniques for making your beaded jewelry finishing process easy and professional looking.   We will discuss bead tips and clam shells, crimp beads, both tube shaped and round shaped, and the proper way to add crimp beads to beading wire with crimping pliers.   We will also demonstrate how to use those fold-over crimps and spring coils that are used to attach ribbon, suede and leather.

Wireworking Techniques - Free Demonstration!

Learn about working with metal wire and what gauges of thickness to use for your projects.   We will demonstrate the correct way to work with jump rings, what head pins and eye pins are used for, and how to make a simple loop as well as a wrapped loop.   You will also be shown how to make dangles, how to link a wrapped loop to another loop, and how to make a wrapped-bail for side-drilled beads.   Confused on how to finish a multistrand necklace using cones?   The mystery will be solved for you in this free demonstration!

Disco Choker - NEW!   Ever wondered what else you can do with those stone donuts?   Join us and create a choker using five donuts, two strands of suede, six 8mm large-holed beads, and finishing it off with fold-over crimp ends and a lanyard hook.   You will love this class! All materials are included except the stone donuts.   You will need to bring five 30-35mm donuts of your choice, or purchase them at our store before class.   Please feel free to call us if you have any questions before registering.

Pearl Cuff Bracelet - NEW!   Cuff bracelets always have the look and feel of quality jewelry.   This project uses nearly 150 4mm glass pearls, four five-strand spacer bars and two bracelet ends with a toggle clasp.   Learn how to measure properly for a perfect fit, and how to terminate each strand with a bead cap and French wire.
How to Use French Wire NEW!   Add a professional looking finish to your beading projects by using French Wire to attach your finding.   We will demonstrate how to measure and cut French Wire, and how to add it to thread or other stringing media.

Get your sexy on and come make some chandelier earrings befitting of any ballroom affair. This class will teach you how to design a pair of five-drop chandelier using Swarovski Crystals and German glass beads. You will love the results!

Swarovski Rivoli Crystal Three-Drop Earrings

Swarovski makes ravishing Rivolis that we find irresistible.   We have a new line of findings that are made especially to fit these Rivolis by adhering them with an E-6000 adhesive.   In this class we will give you plenty of tips to design and complete your own custom-made three-drop earring set using a one-step loop and coil technique.

RIGHT ANGLE WEAVE BASICS:

This is a wonderful weave.   Its name describes it - all the beads are at right angles to each other.   There are 2 methods - single needle and double needle.   Right angle weave goes fairly quickly once you get the hang of it.   We will also learn how to increase and decrease with right angle weaves.   If you've ever made a beaded daisy chain you should have little problem adapting.

DAISY CHAIN:

The daisy chain stitch is one of the most basic beading techniques available for bead weavers. It is often the first experience crafters have with beading, and is even a common activity for groups like Girl Scouts and summer camps.   Each flower is spaced by a row of beads, imitating a real chain of daisies. Our directions use the classic daisy chain colors, however, you are free to design to your tastes by using different shades and colors of beads.   There are many different ways to create tiny flowers with beads, and the techniques used can also be adapted to make interesting chain variations. This workshop will have you mastering the daisy chain stitch in no time!

 

Glass Art Pendant

This is a fun way to express yourself with a custom-made pendant!   In this workshop we will show you how to cut and adhere your artwork to special glass tiles, as well as adding a bail for it to hang from a cord or chain.   You can bring your own artwork images or use our graphic images available for purchase in the store.

 

Flowers & Daggers Bracelet:

Allow your soft feminine side to meet up with your edgier side in this fun and funky, textured bracelet.   Assembled with needle, thread, seed beads, and glass flowers & daggers (watch out!) brought together with a handmade clasp.

Right Angle & Cross Weave Bracelet:

Dare to Dazzle?   Use your right angle weave skills to help create this stunning glass pearl & seed bead bracelet that is undeniably gallery quality.   You will also learn cross weave to accent and embellish your creation with sparkling Swarovski crystals.

Swarovski Rivoli Crystal Chain Necklace:

Learn how to create your own custom-made centerpiece using a Swarovski Rivoli crystal and our special jewelry finding that is made to fit the Rivoli perfectly with our E-6000 adhesive.   Once the centerpiece is completed, we will design a chain necklace accented with 4mm & 6mm Swarovski bicone crystals, closing it off with a toggle clasp.   By the end of this class you will be well versed in looping and coiling techniques.   Your friends and family will surely be impressed.

ICE(TM) RESIN BEZELS

Jump on the resin bandwagon with us and make beautiful personalized charms, clasps and pendants using ICE(TM) Resin.   This two-part resin is easy to use, non-toxic and jeweler's grade.   It stays crystal clear and never yellows or breaks down.

In this three-hour workshop you will learn how to choose, trace, fit, and seal your image into your bezel.   Afterwards, you will learn how to determine the amount of resin you will need for your project, and how to measure, mix, pour and cure the resin.

The fee for the class includes three-hours of instruction, the ICE(TM) Resin for your project, and miscellaneous materials.   You will need to bring a favorite image to fit into the jewelry component you intend to use.   We have a full line of jewelry blanks for pendants, clasps and links available at the store for purchase, if you do not have one.   Pictures of these pieces are on our website next to this workshop description.

Note that the ICE(TM) Resin requires 24 hours to cure, although is portable after six hours.   If it is not convenient for you to return to pick your piece up to take home, we will be happy to safely mail it to you at no extra charge.

Color Theory Basics

Why study color theory? If you are involved in the creation or design of arts and crafts, an understanding of color will help when incorporating it into your own designs. Choices regarding color often seem rather mystical, as many seem to base decisions on nothing other than "it looks right."    Come join us and learn the basics of color theory and how to use a Color Wheel.   The class is 2 ½ hours, and the fee will include a color wheel, and a basic handout on color theory.   We encourage students to particpate in an open discussion of color, and to bring projects which you would like guidance with color options. 

 

Twisted Tree Pendant

Get rooted in wire work with this enchanting tree pendant.   In this work shop you will learn a variety oif wire techniques, including making hoops, twisting, hammering and wrapping.   To add color to your leaves, you will choose 3mm glass beads offered in four color themes.

Feather Earings

Feather earrings are HOT!   Let your imagination take flight with these fun and easy to make feather earrings.   This workshop includes a variety of techniques where you will learn how to attach feathers to earwires, make wire loops, and using coils for attaching crystals and charms to chain.

WireLace® is soft, and lustrous, feels like ribbon on the skin, but can be stretched wider, nearly 3 times its original size, giving it unique and desirable design properties.
