Color Theory Basics Why study color theory? If you are involved in the creation or design of arts and crafts, an understanding of color will help when incorporating it into your own designs. Choices regarding color often seem rather mystical, as many seem to base decisions on nothing other than "it looks right." Come join us and learn the basics of color theory and how to use a Color Wheel. The class is 2 ½ hours, and the fee will include a color wheel, and a basic handout on color theory. We encourage students to particpate in an open discussion of color, and to bring projects which you would like guidance with color options.
